Summer 2025 at Camp Oh-Neh-Tah: A Season to Remember

What a summer! Camp Oh-Neh-Tah 2025 was filled with laughter, courage, and the kind of memories that only happen when you bring together incredible campers, dedicated staff, and the beauty of the Catskills.

From the moment the buses rolled in, the energy was electric. Campers dove into a season of adventure — swimming, hiking, crafting, singing, and trying new things every single day. One of the highlights came on a perfect warm evening when we set up our big blow-up screen and projector under the stars for an outdoor showing of Moana 2. Wrapped in blankets, surrounded by friends, and with the sound of crickets in the background, it truly felt like magic.

Our Talent Show, held outdoors, was another unforgettable night. The courage and creativity on display left everyone cheering long after the final act. And speaking of stars — our older campers and TeenLeaders got to experience them up close when a guest from the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York visited camp. With powerful lenses and a sky full of constellations, the night turned into a breathtaking journey through the universe.

And yes — the legendary Polar Bear Swim made its return! At 6 a.m., brave campers took an early-morning plunge into the lake, waking up with laughter, teamwork, and a lot of proud smiles.

Summer 2025 reminded us all what makes Oh-Neh-Tah so special — friendship, discovery, and moments of pure joy in nature. See some pictures of the highlights of this season below, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for Summer 2026!
