People ask us all the time: “What can I do to help Camp Oh-Neh-Tah?”The truth is, there’s no one answer. But there are so many little ways to make a big difference.

At Camp Oh-Neh-Tah, we believe in the power of community. Since 1936, we’ve empowered girls from New York City and Greene County to grow, lead, and thrive in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. Now, as summer 2025 approaches, we’re reaching out to you, our extended camp family, with an answer to a simple question:

How can you help?

1. Spread the Word 🌟

Our greatest strength is our community. Do you know a girl between ages 8–14 in New York City or Greene County who could benefit from a life-changing week at camp? Please tell them about Camp Oh-Neh-Tah—share our website, forward an email, or just talk to a friend.

Our 2025 camp dates are July 18–26. Spots are limited, and we want to reach as many girls as possible.

2. Help Us Find Amazing Staff 👩‍🏫🌲

Do you know someone 18 or older who’s looking for a meaningful summer experience? We need energetic, compassionate staff to help guide our campers from July 14–28. Know someone 18+ with a kind heart and a spirit of adventure? Please send them our way. A teacher on summer break, a college student, a water rat, someone who just needs to do something meaningful, we need them. Maybe it’s even you.
